“Deck yer bikes, and keep on cycling! Fah la-la-la-la, la-la la laa..”
Sure, we may be well into the winter months by now, but that won’t stop the Monthly Cyclers having the craic, not a bit of it.
For our December cycle, we’ll meet in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, at the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), on on Sunday, 12 December 2021, at 2pm.
Our route will take in a number of parks and river-side locations near the Liffey.

As with last month’s cycle, we invite everyone to deck your bikes in festive lights! Fancying up your bike is completely optional, and although we start at 2pm, it’ll probably begin to get dark as we finish up our pootle. ✨
On our way, we’ll stop for a warm cuppa and bite to eat, and will finish at Smithfield (where further mulled tipples may be on offer from the venues there..!). Please also feel free to bring along your own refreshments, if you prefer.

Covid-19 – Important Information
Please note that, due to the spread of the highly transmissible Delta variant of the Covid virus, and the emergence of Omicron, we’ll keep this event under review. Please keep an eye here or on our twitter feed for any updates or changes to our plans.
In the meantime, we ask that everyone on our Monthly Cycles events continue to observe social distancing, wear face coverings and practice good hand hygiene.
Notwithstanding the progress made with the vaccine roll-out in Ireland, these measures are still very much needed.

About Monthly Cycles
We’re a Dublin-based initiative, with the aim of bringing women in Dublin together each month for an inclusive cycle around the city. We hope to reach both those who are comfortable cycling, and those who are not quite there yet.
Please note: While we welcome all abilities, please be aware that participation is at your own risk.
We welcome everyone to join us, of all ages and abilities – there’s no pressure! These are social events, with the added bonuses of exploring the capital, sharing experiences, exchanging tips, and (very importantly) enjoying cake.
