While we love our social pootles, Monthly Cycles isn’t all cake, coffee and chats!
Our fundamental values include a commitment to human rights, equality and inclusion.
One of the ways we put this into action is to communicate these principles to the various public bodies and authorities responsible for shaping our public spaces.
This includes the following submissions, which we share with you here for transparency purposes, and to encourage feedback, comment and critique:
- NWCI’s Submission to the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport Sustainable Mobility Review (2020) with contribution from Monthly Cycles co-founders.
- Bike Week Webinar: Inclusion & Mobilities (2020) with participation from Eamon Ryan TD, Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport; Finola O’Driscoll, National Transport Authority; Evie Nevin, Cycling and Disability Activist; Majo Rivas, Cork Cycling Campaign; Joan O’Connell, Monthly Cycles; Chaired by Louise Williams.
- Sustainable Mobilities and Inclusion: Summary Paper (2020)
