The second Monthly Cycle!

Our periodic pootle in the park (artist’s impression)

The second ever Monthly Cycle will take place on Sunday, 13 October at 1pm! We’ll meet outside the Criminal Courts of Justice building (near the entrance to the Phoenix Park, on Parkgate Street).

From there, we’ll take an easy tour of The Phoenix Park, stopping at some of the park’s notable and interesting sites, guided by historian Andrew Flood. We’ll also stop off for cake and tea/coffee in the Phoenix Café, in the grounds of the park’s Visitor Centre. (There’s always time for cake.)

You can find our meeting point at this Google Maps link, here.

And our facebook event can be found here – please share widely!

If you don’t have a bike, or prefer not to bring your own, our meeting point is close to a number of Dublin Bike stations (view the map, here), and there are sometimes Bleeper Bikes available near Heuston Station (these can be checked using the map on the Bleeper Bikes app).

  • About Monthly Cycles

We’re a Dublin-based initiative, with the aim of bringing women in Dublin together each month for an inclusive cycle around the city. We hope to reach both those who are comfortable cycling, and those who are not quite there yet.

We welcome everyone to join us, of all ages and abilities – there’s no pressure! These are social events, with the added bonuses of exploring the capital, sharing experiences, exchanging tips, and (very importantly) enjoying cake. 🙂

Please note: While we welcome all abilities, please be aware that participation is at your own risk.
