Our post advertising our Pride Bike Bop event (#PrideBikeBop) can be found on this page.
We ask participants to register to join this event, using this online form.
The reasons we ask participants to register are:
(a) to comply with Dublin Pride’s health & safety requirements for participants in the Dublin Pride March;
(b) to contact everyone before 25 June 2022 with details of where to meet, what to expect, and safety information; and
(c) to facilitate contact tracing in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The personal data we gather is: name, email address, contact mobile phone number. These will be used only for the above-listed purposes, and will be deleted three months after 25 June 2022 (on 25 September 2022).
For health & safety reasons, we also ask participants to indicate in the registration form if they are bringing children with them and, if so, the number of children, and the children’s age groups. We don’t ask for any identifying information or personal data in these questions.
Everyone has specific rights under GDPR. If you have any queries about your data protection rights or about the personal data collected via the Pride Bike Bop registration form, please contact Joan O’Connell at: monthly.bike @ gmail.com
The Data Protection Commission (DPC) is the data protection authority in Ireland. If you wish to make a complaint about how we handle your personal data, you can contact the DPC via dataprotection.ie
